Lil background: I've been struggling with my mental health for about 2 years now and last year November I finally got to see a physiatrist. I got diagnose with depression and got put on anti-depressants and anti-psychotic. Until now ive still struggled with my mental health, especially this year since it has been a bit wonky :p
But I have learned multiple ways to pick yourself up whenever you're having an episode and here some tips that might help you when you're feeling down:
- Try to maintain your hygiene as much as possible
- Don't isolate yourself!!
- If you don't feel like eating, drink lots of water
- Try opening up to chatgpt if you dont feel like opening to others
- Distract yourself, im sorry but dont let sad music get to you. Find new hobbies that you feel like you might be interested in.
- Be positive. Remain positive always and ALWAYS remember that there are people who are willing to help you.
