Day 1 of starting fresh until i become a better moth

I missed this. I'm gonna start these again. Why? I kinda need to rn. I have nothing to give me that structure which I need. I just kinda laze around all day. The funny thing is you'll notice I'm productive in this entry that's because I was thinking of writing this in the evening which already motivated me to do more. Then this also helps me habit track which is quite important for me. You'll notice a few differences but I'm lazy to point them out. Let's begin though! Shall we?

Exercise//Health - I want to start eating better and I have been actually! I made a whole food related bulletin and if you haven't read that, I know love oats. My morning oats can make my whole day. If I haven't had any, it's very obvious. I had some this morning though and I put a bit too much milk in so it was very like watery and falling off the spoon. Still good though. No complaints besides that. I had a sausage roll for lunch which I need to eat less of but whatever, they're good. Can't turn them down. WAIT i have cake in the fridge and I haven't touched it yet!! Damn, I gotta get some after this. It's carrot cake, dawg. Carrot cake is a top tier cake actually.

Then I skipped my exercise today because uhh I don't remember. I think my leg was hurting and my dog didn't want to let me exercise. I'll start again Tomorrow maybe when I can drive, I'll start running. I can't run here, it's quite dangerous but like maybe I can drive out to the field and do some running there. I wouldn't mind that. Running is a cool exercise form! I cant wait. 

Language Learning - I'm learning Spanish. I think it's a beautiful language and Spanish speaking nations make the best music in my opinion. DM me and I'll rec you some amazing Latin American music. When i first started actually, I didn't like Spanish music and everyone was like "to learn Spanish, listen to Spanish music" and I was like no, I'd rather stay in my bubble and listen to the same songs over and over again. Anyway today I did some duolingo and DONT LEARN WITH DUOLINGO. I usually do duo and some Spanish immersion but this time I was like really hooked on a sonic video essay so I didn't do that unfortunately. I only do duolingo to keep my friend streak alive. Can't let them down... can't let them down... Anyway didn't learn much... Because its duolingo and I didn't do my immersion on the side. I did learn about sonic CD though.

Reading - idk why but on my schedule, it's writing first and reading 2nd and I hate that. I read first so I can gain knowledge and write 2nd so I can expell that knowledge. I didn't read today btw. Listen, I picked up this book, A Tale of Two cities by Charles Dickens and it is BORRIINNGGGGG holy shit and remember, i love classics. Ill defend Shakespeare plays, I'll defend... I literally can't think of another example. I just love the classics but Dickens... wrap it up, man. Yk it's bad when I'm looking around the house to find books I haven't read yet and ask my Twitter followers to tell me what to read. I'm gonna exchange that book, sorry. Lucky me, I used the receipt as a bookmark so I can just walk in and get my money back which I will spend on another book since my library is closed down temporarily. I read some non fiction but there's a whole section for that.

Write - I had two writing sessions. One just now, the other earlier. The one just now was really good and then the one earlier was so bad. I got like 100 words down. I think here I want to give out writing advice to the masses. Because I don't want to say what I'm writing so yeah. Okay here we've got some advice from Steinbeck. This interested me when I read it because I saw it and discredited it without realizing, i do this. He says to write with one person in mind. You write for yourself, surely, right? WRONG. that makes you too comfortable you need to write for someone, one or two people because an audience is much too scary. I have a few people in mind for everything I read. It keeps from alienating myself but I'm still confident in my voice. I've got three people in mind for this blog even. I'm not gonna say because yk it's not that deep. It's just that envisioning them reading this allows me to write more authentically. If you write, think about who in your circle would enjoy what you're writing and write for them.

Learning - I'm reading a book on web design and on writing. The web design book is interesting. I almost deleted the pdf then I was like this is kinda fire. I wanted a book on design in general but I'm learning a lot about the mindset one should have when designing a website.

Media - I've been trying to watch more movies but I can't. I'm always busy when I wanna watch. I've been watching community though and I did something really dumb and now I need to watch a season of family guy. 

Odds and ends - for things that don't quite fit in any section. I've become a candy crush player just thought I'd share. That's it. That's all I've got.

Tasks for tomorrow:

• -get some groceries

Rambling section - my favorite! That's why it's last. I want to watch more movies this year. Like I've been watching NorthernLion and that guy likes movies and it makes me want to watch more but I just rarely have the time. Tomorrow I think I'm gonna watch first thing in the morning or maybe after my workout Because I'm just too tired. I wanna go to the cinema more too. Maybe I'll see that new Mickey 17. From the parasite guy. Seems cool! I love modern cinema! I hate it when people are so negative about modern films like this is the best it's ever been (except the 70s and late 90s) and it'll keep getting better (until Scorsese dies). You all should watch a recent movie. If for some reason you want homework for every blog then watch something from the 2020s and go in with an open mind.
