just listened to sinema and of eden and im already huge on em. the requiem and if i die first are also really good. gotta keep up with this blog seein as im lookin for this kinda emo/metalcore (its easy but also hard at the same time when u get recommended alot of pop punk, midwest emo and manufactured metalcore when looking for emo)
I totally know where you are coming from here. I am on the lookout for more underground metalcore. Is there a specific era of metalcore sound you are going for? Like late 90s-early 00s Converge, Misery Signals, Killswitch Engage, and Botch style? Or like mid 00s metalcore like Eighteen Visions, BMFV, Norma Jean, and It Dies Today? Or are you going more late 00s-early 2010s like Attack Attack!, BMTH, Asking Alexandria, etc? This will help me narrow down what I am trying to find to fit into this list.

honestly a good mix of both given those are my 2 favorite eras/sounds of metalcore (and ofc all the bands u mentioned being my favs). i also need to look for more early and mid 2000s post (or melodic) hardcore as well. something like FFTL, Matchbook Romance, The Used, etc

You should definitely check out my friend's band Ariadne's Thread then, they're like Converge. Also No Cure is good if you havent listened to them yet, they're old school straight-edge metalcore.
As far as FFTL and Matchbook Romance soundalikes, I will keep on the lookout. There has to be some out there. I am a big fan of Matchbook Romance's first album and I would be pretty hyped if I found a new band doing that sound.
