Dumb Public Speaking Class

so im in this college class for public speaking which i am required to take for my major

the only issue: it's online 

how the hell is a public speaking class online? 

where is the public aspect?!?!?!?! 

also for each project speech, i must have two people there to watch the presentation. the issue with this is 1. i have like no friends and 2. i live with only my boyfriend so how the hell am i supposed to present shit lololol
