song of the day: Mary On A Cross - Ghost

Happy Valentine’s Day, and Silence of The Lambs day! in a shocking turn of events, everything was not boring! i mean, sure, everything was pretty much the same, but it wasn’t such a drag.

i put together a really cute outfit today, and i actually feel good in it. its really pink, which isn’t really my color, but its working today! plus, i ran and got my friends gifts for valentines, and i wasn’t late to forensics!

maybe it’s because its a holiday, or maybe it’s the caffeine, or maybe it’s something else, but i feel fantastic today! everything is working together perfectly, the world is suddenly less suffocating, and i am so much less tired. i got to go run and get lunch today, and i finished my book as well. it ended with a Pretty in Pink reference and a Princess Bride reference! plus, the music is suddenly so much more fun.

there was a bit of a thing in choir, but it’s completely fine because our director will be back on monday (i will not but that is a monday entry, not a friday entry). the sub kept playing loud music while my friends and i were trying to work on our ensemble piece, and he kept trying to get the class to sing when it was clear none of us were going to work together. but everything is fine! its better than fine really.

maybe its the escape of the post-show-week depression. i have bipolar disorder, so my body pushes itself through everything by a chemical imbalance, and it can be really helpful in stressful situations, but once im out of it, everything slows down fast and i get really low as a response. luckily, next week i talk to my therapist.

anyway, my dad is taking me out to see the new Captain America movie tonight! im super excited, we might even get snacks or dinner after. ill update you tomorrow about it!
