ILLUMINATI... She's so special. Both the live performance and the PV are forever engraved into the frontal lobe of my brain. And it was quite fun to translate this! First, I must mention Gackt's underrated kanji choices, because he always likes to be a little creative with writing; one example is 躰, "karada" (body), which is the fancier spicier version of the much more common 体. Also, I do empathize with the feeling of being sunk in the abysmal swamp.

*Notes: Nimrod and Semiramis are biblical figures, commonly thought to have been king and queen of Babylon. After Nimrod's sudden death, Semiramis claimed that he had become the sun god and had reincarnated into her son Tammuz (so, technically, Nimrod is both Semiramis' spouse and son). She also claimed that she was impregnated by the rays of the sun, and that's potentially an interesting image in the context of the lyrics.  

Boaz is also a biblical figure, commonly associated with strength; Boaz is also the name of one of the two pillars of Solomon's Temple and represents a masonic (and ph4llic) symbol. I'll just leave it there.
Moria is a Naiad nymph dwelling by the river Hermus in Greek mythology.
