maybe this outfit was cooler in my head...
- outfit -
- inverted (inside-out) miku tshirt
- very wrinkled blue and yellow flannel button-down shirt
- grey hooded jacket
- cargo jacket
- dark grey sweatpants
- left shoe: beige converse
- right shoe: black loafer
- grape necklace from that grape coat hanger i picked up off the side of the road
- grandma's coach handbag
- optional: true religion flatcap

i intentionally wore a more poorly put together outfit than usual. the flannel buttons are misaligned, the shoes are mismatched, and the jackets, t-shirt, and sweats are quite drab. these communicate some cynicism or shamelessness... things people perceive as a disregard for style. the wrinkliness of the flannel and the inside-out tshirt add to that idea.
but then comes the coach handbag, probably the rarest statement piece in my wardrobe right now. the handbag, necklace, and true religion flat cap put intentionality to the outfit. i did not wear this outfit because i was running late; i wore this outfit to defy norms about "junky" clothes.
also, there's a bit of a gold motif in the outfit. cheap clothing with gold as an accent color kinda adds to the theme.
most people at my school today probably didn't get the point of the outfit, but i don't really care about that.
if you'd like, please let me know your thoughts in the comments. one worry i had was that this fit might seem to appropriate the appearance of a homeless person. this was not my intention.
i'm out. i don't really know what i'm doing tonight. it's the start of the new semester so i have no pressing work yet. i might try to record a music type video to put on youtube. we'll see.

Doesn't really look like it's like a 'homeless outfit'?? more like chaotically disruptive... asymmetrical... the jackets added up like that look so cool, though I wonder how could you be able to handle that when it gets hot outside.... the shoes for me were such a banger! creative. To wear two types of different shoes, I should try that, because then I can wear and combine more things I like.
Really cool, loved the handbag and the hat... once again you slayed this outfit up!!

Outside of the shoes, this fit is so so fire, although i really understand the purpose of them and i admire the thought you put in the fit, this is amazing omlll
