I don't actually want this site to be as big as facebook or anything since that will always lead to Spacehey being as enshitified as facebook but is still could be a lot more popular than it is now without it reaching facebook's level. this site feels like it has so little activity going around that it's hard to justify checking it everyday. I heard this site was actually a lot more active (and also a lot less teens) when it first launched but I guess it slowly dwindled down to what it is today. It's a shame I missed out on the peak of the site but oh well.
I wish this site was a bit more active

[ A year ago, I recall this site being extremely active, even to the point of there being site wide drama. Unfortunately after layout posting was disabled the active userbase slowly shrank to the point it is today. I don't think the big users from back then are around anymore. I'm so upset about it. ]
Do you mean the only layouts that are available are the ones in the tab? So you can't really create your own?

Damn shame to miss out. I did wonder why the latest layout post was over seven months ago. I was just thinking it was inactive. I had no idea they disabled posting.

tbf the og myspace didn't have a specific page for layouts, u used to have to go to external sites like "pimp-my-profile.com" to find them. so they probably disabled it to save costs from storing and hosting new layouts on their servers.

OldSpice
Just joined around 2 days ago in hopes that this would be a great way to have social media with out the craziness of the algorithm. Also a throwback to myspace is a great aesthetic choice. I think with some more effort and digging for like minds we can keep it active and hopefully it grows! It might be something where the other socials need to cannibalize themselves for a little longer. We'll see!
I joined for much of the same reasons. I do hope it starts growing again but time will tell if that happens.
