this year will be my year or so help me god

started the year off good this time with a boyfriend and a somewhat better relationship with my mother. now it's almost the end of January and i'm locking the fuck in. 

i've started relearning Italian and i'm pretty confident in my ability to hold a basic conversation, i'm also looking into classes to take to get my GED and coincidentally there is a campus right across the street from my work that's for continuing education. i had my first session with a new therapist after not going for a couple years and i actually like this one, her methods make sense to me. i am grabbing 2025 by the balls and not letting go.

i just need to wait until i get my class schedule so i can figure out which days i can ask about more hours for at work, otherwise i'll have to go search through craigslist and pray i don't end up organ-less in an ice bath.

i've also started watching House MD (it's one of my boyfriend's all-time favourite shows and he's watching my fav right now which is Psych) and i started Dexter too.

my mom is coming to visit for a few days (she's actually coming here for work but she's staying at my place instead of paying for a motel) and she arrives tomorrow night so i'm writing this in the middle of cleaning the trash dump of a room i have.

my 19th birthday is soon and i want to dye my hair blond so i have a new look when i celebrate.
