tenth entry. 01/08/25

I wonder if I should start using a date for these. It might be the smart thing. It would be nice to keep track, especially after the day I've had. Well, my grandmas had. She got a very sad call today, her older sister passed away today. The sisters son was the one who found her. 

She was 83. She lived alone. 

I can't imagine the pain my grandma is going through today. Of my family who was closest to her. 

It makes me think of the inevitable day for when my grandma will finally join my grandpa in heaven. Its something I think about it enough, because I see how much of a mortal she is. She was very sick this passed spring, and I witnessed this strong, powerful woman at her weakest, and I saw, just how much of a mortal she is. 

You never think the people you look up to as just mortal. 

Her time will come, and I know a piece of me will die with her.
