God Gamer (Games Playing Right Now #5)

Keeping it simple today. I have decided to replay Hollow Knight again. It's a game that I knew I liked, but never really remembered. This time around, I used what I remembered from videos and the wiki to really move through the game faster overall. I didn't do stuff like shade skips or anything too big, but I was able to get the collectables faster using that new knowledge. It was even able to start The Grimm Troupe which I never knew much about. I defiantly recommend it if you want a fun metroidvania that's fun in it's own right and has endless skill expression official or not.

This has also awarded this game to be added to my rerun games lists. Not sure if I will become as reran as a game like DKCR, but it is still likely to call me back even after dropping my current run.

I will note the title of this series might have already became dated. There is no guarantee that I will keep playing Hollow Knight for now. Oh well. At least I can say I might return to Brothership for my next roadtrip. It's defiantly more fun to play on the road than just at home.

Edit: Welp. I did the Path of Pain the same day I started it on my new save I guess. Here is the video on it.

Something I should have writen about sooner is that I'm actually playing Cortex Command: Community Edition every once in a while. Recently did a Bunker Breach attack with the Helldivers mod. I don't play Helldivers myself being an expensive live service game (yes, I know this one's more fair.), but I enjoy watching my friends play it so I picked up the mod.

One fun thing to note about the mod was that despite there being a lunge action that would fit the divers, it wasn't actually added to them. I had to figure out how to port the Ronin Commando lunge lua script to the Helldiver actor myself.
