Heyy, a little late to the party, but wanted to say that I just watched Host (2020) and really liked it. The idea from the movie is pretty typical, a demon is summoned and then people die, but the way it was made makes it stand out: since it was filmed after the covid-19 pandemic started, they had to record the movie like a Zoom meeting, which is a method I enjoyed seeing in one Modern Family episode and was eager to watch after I saw another movie trailer, this one from years before, using it (it´s still on my to-watch list :P).

Even before seeing it on movies, I already liked the idea of using modern interfaces to tell a story, there were 2 games that I watched that also used it (one used an old chat room format). I think that´s it, going back to the movie, if you like YouTube Short Horror Films (and have time and access to the movie Host), I recommend it, it has the same format of a cool idea that captures your attention (and if you don´t have access or time, I recommend the short film "Be Careful What You Wish For", it´s still the shortest and at the same time well thought "movie" I ever saw (pretty hard to beat 2:00 minutes :P)).
