so this is the new year (almost)

heyyy besties it's almost 2025

I'm going to be making a non-comprehensive list of what I hope to achieve in the new year, especially since putting it here on a site i use a lot may help me to actually check in on those goals more regularly

Financial Goals:

-I want to get a 3 month emergency fund built up before 2026 ($4000 approx. in savings)
-I want to use my debit card as much as possible, hopefully avoiding using my credit card at all
-I want to make a monthly budget for every month of 2025

Health Goals:

-I want to walk and bike in every situation that I can, aiming for at least 5,000 steps a day
-I want to drink more water, and I'll achieve this by keeping a water bottle on me all the time/as much as I can
-I want to track my calories daily
-I want to prioritize sleep, getting at least 7 hours a night

Personal Growth Goals:

-I want to read more, tracking/reviewing the books I finish on here or on a site like Goodreads
-I want to re-do my budget and resume, making sure that I'm ready for life after graduation
-I want to write something daily (either blogs, poems, revising, etc.)
-I want to plan a post-grad plan with fellowships, grants, etc.
