Life sucks and success is only a relative concept.
When we hear the word 'successful' often the first word to come to our mind is money. In our heads someone successful is someone who makes lots of money, spends their free time working, someone constantly responding to emails, doing business and not having enough time for themselves. I wonder what did that come from. Why people don't understand that money does not bring happiness and working their asses off won't make you feel better about yourself. Although it is probably satisfying hearing how society appreciates this kind of lifestyle and thinks it's the right one. I read a book once about a woman visiting US and writing about how different american work ethic is from european. The avrage americans life is about taking unbelivebaly big loans to get education, get a degree, have a hard time looking for a job, and then finally finding some, working day and working with little days off, paying off their debt for the rest of their life and die. It's kind of sad how american society sees work as something that should always come first. To me successful people are the ones who don't wanna follow a made up for them plan. They are willing to work for their goal but not fall into this exhausted and sad workaholic cycle. People who are not afraid of being wrong or to admit they don't know everything but are willing to learn are the most unstoppable and powersful ones. Creativity is a feature that initiates success. You don't have to be rich to be happy and successful. You have to be yourself and feel good about it. When you're thinking about your acomplishments you need to think 'wow i'm so happy i did this, this is what life should look like'. Unfortunately life is not that simple and still with the right mindset you may end up working in a dinner to pay the bills and feed your kids. Maybe in some other universe we didn't do this to ourselves as a human race and live just how we want to.
