I wish I couldn’t welcome you back so easily/ I know I drove you away, but it was your decision to put the bounty on my head./ Having you around will never be the same as knowing you. And I know I think that I do, cause I’m certain you are genuinely happy that I’m back but that doesn’t excuse you. Pity parties don’t welcome the unsympathetic/ pour out your teeth grind I need to harness it/ if you’re not angry you have no drive/ all you did was talk harmless about me and I’m certain all of it was in doubt/ what is there between both poet and muse if not divine devotion? If not for the game of glue trap and mouse we wouldn’t have these words now would we?/ I have a strange infatuation with the odd or the unholy/ the strange beating of your heart for everything  could cause anything to happen/ imperfect boys with their “perfect prizes”/ dog is man’s best friend but lapdog is just wo to man/ I’m an effeminate clock just waiting for the day time stops so I don’t have to describe a thing about me/ I’m just really really pissed off at atoms/ why would you make this work just for it to hurt? I guess that’s the genius in you./ no famous artist wasn’t mad, always a freak never a genius until too late/ overcompensated never appreciated/ bring a sword to a gun fight just to let it be over with
