HAHA why

The haunted look on my Fiancés face when I explain a bit of my childhood to her. ( She asked. Really shouldn't have, to be honest..)

What little I can remember, due to brain damage and trauma, has upset and frustrated her. Because she helped me piece together just how messed up it all was.

Mom had her faults, obviously, but raising three kids in a drug den and around unsavory people probably wasn't her smartest move.

Dad wasn't the best either, tbh. He was in and out of my life for years. She moved us around the greater united states, because in her and her bf's mind, you can easily run from child support payments.

Yes. This was their logic.

Even though, any intelligent person knows that when you move and put in a change of address, the state will eventually find you.

I moved too damned much as a kid.

Fiancé looked it up, and was surprised by how little stability we had. It's why I cannot stand moving. It stresses me tf out.

I'm 33 now, and she's helping me to uncover so much.
