Sorry again. Feels like I just apologized for my absence (which I guess I pretty much did).
You'll have to excuse me, this is my first real social media besides Discord. So I'm not really used to updating it. Regardless, allow me to fill you in on my recent whereabouts.
First order of business, did you know I love Savannah? It's true, I'd love to live their some day and if we manage to survive the next four years I totally just might. (Alternatively I could move to Norway Q_Q)
Why was I there you might ask, my nonexistent reader. Well, my darling reader, My Sister is the sporty athlete type! She decided to partake in a Strong Man competition that was being held nearby. So my family decided to venture to Savannah to see her participate and enjoy the city for a night.
Sadly my digicam was just not cooperating with the SD card I put in it since the one I'd been take pictures with so far was full. So I'll have to see what that's about soon.
Really nice place. I hear the crime rate is bad but meh, still pretty.
Ghastly said that this might make a good liminal space image if you just crop out the woman on the far left, which was actually what I was going for until she got in my shot. That's just the risks you take with public, especially urban, photography though I guess. Sometimes people get in frame. The lighting probably wouldn't make it qualify for the subreddit but bite me!
Taken at the Mellow Mushroom by the way. Will definitely be a go to place to eat if I move down there. By the way, if you're employee who was wearing the blue beanie. You're handsome... <3
I really wanted to see Savannah's night life! Too bad it was freezing cold there and my poor Jacket and Scarf just weren't enough to survive the winds somehow. I just wanted to be out of there by the time dinner was done but had I not suddenly had the urge to not be out in the winter weather I so would have strolled around for hours. There was even a parade that night apparently.
Also some of the apartment buildings have great decorations. Very merry!
After getting out of Savannah though, we went to some nearby, less cold, Outlet Mall. I got a new pair of shoes (too bad I have to wait until Christmas to actually wear them -w- ).
They also had a great little photo opportunity at the central fountain which I took use of.
My Mom is a pretty good Photographer, just has a bad eye for the opportunities I guess. Meanwhile I want to capture everything! That is how we get iconic images after all, like the Backrooms image or pre-2020s Liminal Space images. They were captured just to capture. Sorry that tangent probably seems out of place here, but just thought I'd compliment my mother.
I'll post more soon, as in right after this or tomorrow.
Love ya lots <3
