Journal #41

I've bought my ticket! I'm going to Mexico for the spring! 

That doesn't mean I'm going to stop writing here though. Far from it probably. Where I'm staying, there's a park right across the street. I bought myself a new mini notebook yesterday so I can visit the park and read books from the library and write. I am planning on taking a huge social media detox while I'm over there though. There's no one besides Boyfriend that I really talk to or care to record things for. I'll start scrapbooking, too which is also what the notebook's for. I'll share some of the pages when I get back home and can properly scan them. 

The next thing I need on my list is a nice new suitcase. I don't have one nor have I ever had one, but I'm looking for something secondhand, but nice. Maybe I'll find a pink one in the proper size if I'm lucky. I can go looking for one later today. 

Saturday was so much fucking fun! Boyfriend surprised me by showing up to my graduation! He made it after all! I was so so so unbelievably happy to see him! We went to this little chinese food place a few minutes away and it was alright. I had some warm sake and it honestly sucked. I didn't feel the slightest bit drunk and it just tasted like heated rubbing alcohol. I don't recommend it, I should've gone for a beer. After that, Boyfriend took me and my sister to walk around the mall and we had a good time browsing and talking. I bought myself a couple LPS from 5 Below and completed the disco pets collection! Then me and Boyfriend stayed up all night watching cartoons at my place! It was so much fun! I'm so very thankful for him! He told me his high school graduation ceremony sucked and that he wanted me to have a good one and when he did, I nearly teared up. I want to give him the whole world someday. He deserves it -- more than it even. I love him so so so so dearly. Just writing this is making me all sedimental and misty eyed. I'll have to do something sweet to show him my gratitude. When I'm finally over this cough, I'll definitely make him those sugar cookies. Or, I'll surprise him with the real deal when we get to Mexico together! And I'll get him some flowers to go with it! 

My family and I went out to visit my grandma yesterday. She's staying with my uncle for now because her arthritis got pretty bad. It was lovely seeing her again. Then we went out for a walk at the Montclair plaza, which I'd never been to before. I got myself Goodnight Punpun volume 1, that notebook I mentioned earlier, some sticky notes, a tag for my suitcase, and some Littlest Pet Shops! I managed to pull the little pink cat from the blind box I got! I'm so happy! I adore her! She's probably my new favorite pet from this generation at the moment and I'm so lucky to have her! 

Today I'm taking it easy and just reading manga. I think I deserve a bit of a break, I'm so fucking worn out from school. Gonna hit up the treadmill later and maybe the thrift store. I'm really glad I have time to exercise now. It's been a while and my legs are sore from sitting for so damn long.
