needy streamer overload is the bpd simulator and internet streamer commentary we needed, but the message tends to go over peoples heads and they focus on the sex appeal on ame :/ when like, i get it. she's cute but how shes treated also makes a huge point on how misogyny is rampant online.

also going to a rave got me more into scenecore stuff so i started listening to a lot of hyperpopo and ketski and barelyhuman lol. ik theres og scene stuff but the new ones go rly hard too

i think this was around the time when i made a dedicated spreadsheet for a media watchlist. i had borrowed games from a former friend's steam account and just got so addicted to cult of the lamb my friends would yell at me at 2 am. i racked 20 hours on that game. i'd also do voices over yttd and we've have call sessions as a get together before we split and it was really fun.

hazbin hotel was okay. it's a show. y yeah. thats it. angel dust is pretty good rep imo but it didnt g r i p me, yk?

and narnia slapped. really fair for its day and its a great allegory for ptsd.

klonoa is an absolutely adorable platformer that totally does not have depressing lore and wonderful aesthetics in all of gaming. it's like if sonic and kirby made a baby but didn't give us new games, just remakes. and god, i want more. it's just. such a good time. also the first one's plot twist made me go into a gut punch for a week. what the fuck???

slay the princess is peak. i went into another frenzy and 100 percented the entire thing on my other friend's steam library. smth smth how life is given meaning through death and theres just so many themes and the cosmic horror is just played so WELL. also main protagonist definitely has DID and why has nobody picked up on that yet. dude literally forms alters from stress

this is the month where i started to dip my toes into horror For Real to learn how to control my own fear!! i started out literally needing to have my friends watch me play ib out of sheer anxiety to gritting my teeth through mad father and misao. also, my current group of friends started regular stardew sessions, and i got reccomended a cute vn series

also around this time the palestine bundle on itch.io was a thing and to this day i still have a backlog of little indie games to get through... once i'm in the mood again i'll chip through them. man, so many games, so little time :(

bomb rush cyberfunk got me hooked into the modding scene and retro gaming, so i hacked my wii and got my 2ds hacked so i could play some of my old games again :) it made me really appreciate games that didn't rely on dlc or future updates, but kept themselves in a contained package. anyways yay more accessible games!
