complete U turn from my last entry... el o el...
i read a whole lot. ive been reading on an adult comprehension level since i was 7. it was one of the only things i could do well, where my poor vision or autism didnt affect. when i was about 10 i learned about fan fiction and it became my entire life. there wasnt a day taht went by where i didnt check my favorite wattpad stories.
While ive abandoned wattpad at this point, i still read, and now write, a wholleee lot.
i jsut got done with The Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley armstrong and . it was a little underwhelming in all honesty. I love the characters and story, dont get me wrong, but book 2 felt rushed. the first one? perfect. no complaints. and then? major dropoff after the facility. it felt like it lost its mojo. the ending felt stitched together too... idk. still gonna write for it. definitely about Derek.. ghff...
Another thing about me and books is that i will always boast Wings of Fire as the holy grail. I was hyperfixated on it from the ages of 11 to 15 and good gravy. My favorite character is darkstalker. might draw some human interpretations of the dragons now that i think about it. one time i saw fanart of the sandwing sisters that made them white and blonde. eugh. they live in the desert. thats the phyrria equivalent of africa. get your act together. icewings r white. mayo eaters. seawings are medium toned and i like to think are very diverse in their heritage. like different kinds of seawings used to exist but now its a kind of mixing pot like america. mudwings are also diverse but not in the way seawings are. like more shade ranges but mostly darker skinned. some of the more modern nightwings are definitely white but like the older ones are darker. am i making sense yet?
will update tomorrow with more books ive read !!!
