TCC RANT

Okay so im super bored so that means its time to pour my word soup into this site

when i say tcc freaks you must understand i dont mean people who enjoy true crime, research it or are fascinated by aspects of crime. I mean girls who make edits of eric and dylan to nine inch nails. i mean people who romanticize school shooters and very real domestic abuse cases.

i myself am very enthralled in the true crime community, regularly endulging in my own research of crimes. hell i was in the top 0.1% of listeners for a popular true crime podcast this past year!!! not only that but i am also really into horror. Throw blood, guts, serial killers and a few chainsaws in a movie and hell yeah ill watch it!

the only difference between me and these people is that i am able to differentiate between real, horrific crimes and feel empathy for the victims while also being intrigued about the actions and psychology of the criminal. 

These people who latch onto the columbiners or whatever that russian kids name is people drool over on tt dont understand the gravity of their actions. Typically, they are 14-16 year olds who saw someone who they thought they could relate to and overlooked their actions. These people are usually lonely teenagers who feel misunderstood and cant grasp the fact they are not the same as these people. 

its okay. you can feel sympathy towards someone who is bullied. you can see them and relate to them and feel your own loneliness echoed back to you, but you do not, ever ever ever start to idolize these people. You should want more from your life and yourself as a person. You dont want to replicate their crimes. you dont want to end up behind bars or dead by the time youre 17. You shouldnt look at someone like Dylan Klebold and think to yourself, "oh, he gets me. he wouldnt hurt me. " he would. These people, these horrific criminals who sought to murder and hurt others dont care about you. You would suffer the same fate as the rest of their victims had you been in that scenario. 

wanting to hurt innocent people and doing so isnt a normal human trait. they have disorders. disorders that cause the empathy pathways in their brains to collapse under pressure or some shit and cause bullets to dig into the bodies of peoples children. Someones son. Someones daughter. Someones mother. You cant look at someone whose done something like that and not think about the victims. The real human people who had lives and families and even the people surrounding the situation. The people who survived live in shame, survivers guilt, thinking to themsleves that they should ahve done something. should ahve saved someone. The victims mothers who didnt know sending their child off to school that day would end up being the last time she saw them until their body is lowered into the ground.

 you have to think about the people affected by your dear criminals. 

what would your mother say? when she gets the call you didnt make it? when she rushes to the crime scene and screams for the police to let her through? to get to her baby again? 

No mom? think about your dad. or grandma. or grandpa. aunt. uncle. best friend. anyone who would see you lying there and live the rest of their life thinking asbout what could have been done differently. who would spend the rest of their existence mourning you and thinking about you. who would hear your favorite song on the radio and break down in tears because they wont be able to hear you sing it or recommend it ever again. Who would be the ones cleaning out your bedroom or, more likely, leaving it the way it is until they have to. Feeling terrible for deconstructing your belongings, thinking to themselves about how your favorite perfume would never run out. how your products would expire long after you did.
