My heart aches..

It is no exaggeration when I say that my family is my biggest hater. Ik everybody's situations are different but my family history is not one to be proud of. I'm overthinking every situation and they make everything 10 times harder than it needs to be.

They really don't know me or see me the way I see myself. Thats fine, but their perception of me hinders sm of my progress. They are so judgmental on just ab everything I do. I wear too much makeup, I dress too extravagantly, etc. I AM AN ARTIST. 

I was not given this short life to impress anyone so its actually crazy to me that they need to voice their opinions to me in front of my boyfriend's parents? Is that not the weirdest thing ever? 

I'm legitimately so proud of myself and my accomplishments. I just don't get why they are so bothered ab me living in my authenticity. I seriously can't wait to live on my own bc this is actually hell.
