so last night i stayed up real late to check out ryan ross's old lj posts and. wow. i did not expect the impact of "17 years ago" to hit me like a sick of bricks like that. j e e z. i have a lot of melancholy regarding old web and archives. idk it's just a feeling i don't think there's a word for yet, adn if i was a good writer maybe i'd describe it well enough. just know that it's like waking thru an abandoned town with like, holograms of the people who used to be there, and they're all talking but when you touch them they disappear... or, idk, it says they haven't been online in 9 years or wtv.
