playing video games without my prescription glasses

re:my previous blog post, never mind i remembered what i wanted to write about!

back when i was first prescribed with glasses (because getting up in the middle of class to read the board was too disruptive i guess), i only used it for classroom purposes, which meant that i spent a majority of my time playing games on the laptop without glasses (my prescription is -2.50 for both eyes at the moment btw and i think it's relatively been the same since i first got it (6th grade)).

i have no idea why or how i was even able to tolerate the blurriness of it, but i used to play games like league of legends blind as hell??? maybe my smaller stature and slouching pulled me closer to the screen more back then than it does now.

either way, it's funny to think about what things i just didn't perceive because the blobiness wasn't something i was able to distinguish. i'm not sure what prompted me to use glasses more often, especially on computer screens, but these days i sometimes feel too lazy to put my frames on and i'm reminded of how i just lived life at home in a constant blurry state.

although, i really like not wearing frames around the house. i don't feel lost without glasses at home. it's when i step out into the world that i feel the visual impairment/disability allegations winning. life is all about being in your most comfortable state or whatever =3= i just don't wanna have something on my face !!!!
