What is a mosquito to Bill gates's toilet water

Ive been thinking a lot about the obscurity of humanity's addiction to forming bonds with literally everything and anything. We form these charged, irrational attachments to anything that we can get our hands on and it just doesn't make sense to me.

I understand being able to become close to or attached to members of the same species, but seriously what is up with our weirdo primate brains. Why do we try so desperately to humanize every single object we come across. For example i was kicking around a rock the other day on my way to the gym and eventually i noticed that the rock was a pretty cool shape (its difficult to explain, if you were a rock you'd understand), and after a while i stopped kicking and just picked it up. His name is Daniel and were best bros. THIS IS WHAT I MEAN, SO TELL ME EVOLUTION, WHY DO I CARE FOR THIS PIECE OF SEDIMENT HUH, WHAT WAS THE ADAPTATION FOR SURVIVAL THERE.

Anyyyyway, maybe this is a bit passive aggressive for my first blog but i had words that needed to be said so i said em, sue me, actually maybe don't do that i dont think i can handle it. Think of the kids, think of Daniel.
