what to do when you're so wound up you wanna bash your head into the wall

1. listen to high energy music. anything that gets those emotions felt in a healthy, controlled way.

2. exercise. it doesn't have to be much, just get those energies translated physically somehow. you could dance to music, do some stretches. if you have a switch, there's a free jump-rope game on it that i like to do daily.

3. eat something sensory inducing. something sour or spicy. i don't know why, but triggering sensations with food i like tends to help when i feel overwhelmed.

4. play a game or watch a movie. either to distract or to get those emotions out again, in a controlled setting. but if doing these things only makes you feel worse, maybe don't do them. don't be the guy that throws controllers at TVs because he's bad at regulating his emotions, that guy is lame.

5. make a list instead of doing any of these things, because you woke up mega tired still and don't have the motivation to move yet.

6. if you have the ability to, just fucking scream.
