Humanity is leaving me quite unimpressed and disappointed lately.

Friends" ghost me, break promises, disrespect me. The disconnect continues to widen between me and people. Friends, family and humanity as a whole has me very disappointed. People seem very complacent, rigid and unwilling to evolve and discard stagnant traditions and social norms. Perhaps my expectations are too high but so be it. Humans are naturally social beings and I am no exception, so of course I yearn for that. I have been a loner for most of my life of 44 Earth years. Yet it is still something that I can't easily get used to. I am much more impressed with animals, plants and nature. I have my music which I am still pursuing. I am utilizing exotic tuning systems on custom fretted guitars. A system called microtonality or xenharmonics. Not many people even know what it is, especially in the west, which is a shame. Conformity and standardization is tragic in any artistic field. Fuck the rules, make up your own. Quite an esoteric endeavor but when you don't have much to believe in, you must at least believe in yourself.
