i don't know how to get rid of it. i thought it would be so easy to get off/stay off of it but no. i just can pry myself away. i will stay on for hours and when i get off i don't feel alive and don't know how to function. like i just kinda. dissociate. and it takes forever to come back to reality. my brain is absolutely FUCKED. i've disabled it on my phone and my tablet but i can still access it through chrome even i tell myself alright just don't fucking get on there. i still get on there. it's bad. i've spent my entire night watching youtube videos. this has been so frequent lately. my relationship with yt has been getting increasingly worse over the years (yk like unchecked bad habits tend to do) and it's seriously starting to consume my time. it's so hard to pry myself away. it's always just one more video i say. and then i watch 10 more.
it feels absolutely ridiculous to say i'm addicted to watching fucking videos online. like how fucking pathetic do you have to be to have that problem?
i'm currently coming back to reality. i still don't feel very alive right now even while typing. it's trippy.

honestly i had this issue a few years back aswell, maybe not as severe as yours but honestly what has worked for me is to watch uninteresting videos, if u keep doing that even if you don't watch it all the way, eventually you will start to get bored of it. Highly recommend the 1,2,3 method also, when your getting guilt as u watch videos count down yourself and in 3 just get up, leave the room, close your phone or whatever your using. Hope this helps.
