working from home is weird

Today was my first day working from home and it was..... Bleh.
For some context: the company I was hired at has a blended style of work where we go to the office 2 days/week, and the other 3 days are from home.

As I had expected, it was difficult for others to ask me to do things cause I'm inexperienced and they'd need to hop on a call w/ me to explain what they wanted me to do (or worse, they'd need to type it all down).
So yeah, I wasn't given many things to do today, unlike the past two days.

However, I think there's another factor I must not forget: the past 2 days I was assigned one specific project to work on and finish (since the person who left recently left in the middle of it). But I completed my part of the work yesterday, and today I just had to upload everything to a teams folder.

So it's not necessarily that I wasn't given anything to do, it's just that I need to be given something new, and that is the difficult part.

And lastly, it's not like I didn't do any work all day. I was in fact sent one thing to edit and finalise, and I did that with little problem.
