Announcement (11/01/24)

As of today, I officially quit Twitter. For real this time.

 For those of you who don't know, on August 2022, I joined Twitter under the apt handle of @RealIsaacM. After many months of writing some shit tweets that I now deeply regret, I got suspended in November of that year for calling "all Republicans delusional".
After a few months, in March 2023, I got unsuspended, then almost immediately had my account locked because I was 12 when I created @RealIsaacM, only a few months from turning 13 in December 2022.
Then, sometime later in 2023, I regained my account and immediately started to post even more dumb shit that I regret even more.
On March 15, 2024, after more than a year and a half, I decided to quit Twitter.

But the retirement didn't last long. In June 2024, I made a thread of what would've been my final tweets, ending with a fond farewell and a link to the song "End Theme" by Zero 7.
Then, in July 2024, I finally started using Twitter again. I finally starting making tweets that I don't currently regret making. Mostly involving Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is solid proof that just because something is generally made towards a young audience doesn't mean that it has to be beyond garbage. However, my enjoyment of Twitter quickly started to fade as I had an epiphany and realized "Hey, this website actually sucks ass."
Finally, as of about 30 minutes ago, give or take a few, I made an small quasi-announcement that I had finally quit Twitter, with my final post (not including the one linking to this very blog post) being a link to the song "Float On" by Modest Mouse, which is one of my favorite songs of all time.
The reason for my sudden retirement is because Elon Musk and his legion of musketeers, while already having existed back in August 2022, have especially thin skin. And, more so, because Elon Musk is a fascist piece of shit (though "fascist" and "piece of shit" are synonymous). If I ever do return to Twitter, it will likely be under a different account.
I sincerely regret what I said prior to March 15, 2024, and I hope you can forgive me.

tl;dr twitter sucks so much that calling it a dogshit app would be an insult to dogshit, and I regret what I have said on it.
