A Gyaru's Guide - Attitude and Confidence Boosting (31/10/2024)

A gal/gyaruo can always be recognised by their big hair, good makeup, and flashy clothes. But first, you've got to build that base of confidence before you step out into that big world! Trust me, it's nerve-wracking going out in gyaru for the first time. I mean, it's intimidating being the only hottie in your town! You see what I did just there? I just complimented you. That's an example of how to change your mindset and help you strut your stuff, gal style!

Now, you may be asking yourself - how are you just so... confident? Well, it's just a few tips and tricks up in my sleeves that I've been slowly but surely gathering. Well, here goes!

Tip One:

Be bright and fun to be around! Gyarus and gyaruos are known for their extroverted personalities. If you wanna be the life of the party, start acting like it by listening to people, being nice, and gathering your group of friends where you feel confident in. And no, you don't always have to surround yourself with other gals/gyaruos - those are hard to find anyways. Instead, gather friends who have different styles, different personalities, but ultimately people who you actually like sticking with. Believe me, I don't have many gal friends. In fact, most of my irl friends don't take part in a specific style, but they appreciate me anyways.

Tip Two:

Just remember that it's okay to go out in bold and bright makeup. They may give a dirty look, but deep down you're more confident to go out as a gal/gyaruo than they could ever be - their negative reaction says just that. In fact, the fact that you're going out all cute and dressed up just proves you actually care about how you look!

Tip Three:

Be a rebel. The whole point of this substyle is to be a rebel and go against society's toxic beauty standards. I'm sick of the excuse of being afraid of disobedience when that's the whole point of gyaru. If no one ever rebelled, would gyaru even exist in the first place? No way! Without breaking the rules, how can you consider yourself a gyaru?

Well, now we're here at the bottom of this blog entry. I love writing these blogs, and I also love reading your comments and appreciation through kudos. If you wanna friend me, go right ahead! It's always nice with new friends. Comment any suggestions for future guides, or maybe ask me a few questions. Who knows? There may be a Q&A blog, just for you guys! So... you know the drill. Get wild, and be sexy! Love you all!
