Halloween story!!

Since i've got literally nothing else to do for Halloween this year i'll just plop down this Halloween story i recite basically every year to anyone who doesn't know about it yet. :p

So back when i was like 10 or so years old, maybe younger maybe older, i wanted to go out trick or treating, only problem was...

I had no one to go with, all of my friends were away, my mother was sick and going alone was not an option.
So... I was forced to have my older brother come with me for supervision, something both he and i begrudgingly accepted.
As soon as we were outside the door he pitched his "strategy" to me, and even 10 year old me noticed how skittish and nervous he sounded as he talked about. His plan was to just stand behind me and act essentially like my bodyguard, which would have no doubt looked stupid!

Good thing then that he did not do that.

We went to a neighbours house where i knocked on the door, and in the middle of me collecting my sweets from them, i looked behind me to see where my brother was.

He was on the other side of the road, pretending to be a passerby.

As soon as i got done with the house i went over to him, called him an arse, and immediately went back home, grumpy as hell, and told my mother about who agreed that he was being a daft idiot. :pppppppp

So yeah that's really it, all i scored for Halloween that year was like,
one chocolate egg and the German equivalent of a Tootsie Toll. XP
