witchcraft behind a paywall

so i have been a pagan witch and been in the community of witches for about six years now and let me tell you the amount of information locked behind a paywall in this community is ridiculous. especially because most of what people put behind the paywall is stuff that can be researched for free or in much cheaper books. like look at that, $120 for you to what? tell me to use these herbs and that candle on this day? gtfo

shit like this just makes me mad bc so many people who are just starting their journey in witchcraft might think their best shot at getting good reliable information is by paying outrageous prices for something made by someone who may or may not be a real witch. now im not coming for this website specifically, i just saw it and got angry, but ive had sooo many scam accounts contact me or follow me claiming to be a shaman or a tarot reader or anything like that when really they just wanna get people to send them their banking information 

but even some of the real witches who DO have the correct knowledge of these subjects ARE SCAM ARTISTS. theyll praise new witches for beginning their journey and tell them they can help them learn and then say they have to pay to even begin to learn about what they know. and yes not all of these classes are scams, but i just dont like the fact that so much information and potential knowledge is locked behind a paywall that a lot of people cant afford or literally just dont feel like paying. 

ive thought about either making a different blog or using this one to start posting my own FREEEE information for myself and potential others who are interested in learning about witchcraft from someone who isnt going through spiritual psychosis and can tell the difference between real and fake magic (bc a lottt of people post fake information and then people wonder why it doesn’t work)

but anyways fuck paywalls, information should be free, do your own research if you care about something, and let me know if you have questions or if witchcraft blogs would be a cool idea x3
