I forgot to write this one in, mostly because I was so busy trying to piece it back together. It was one of those long and plot-heavy dreams that drags on through half-waking and half-lucidity, so it was very very interesting but so strange and I regret that I forgot a lot of it because it no longer makes much sense.
Throughout the dream I had a real and serious sense of mission - I think that's the clearest thing about the dream overall, this extremely strong sense that I'm on a mission to figure something concrete out.
I was with Kate, and we were chosen by some Hagrid-esque figure to find out the purpose of some kind of secret society - something to the effect of spying on/ figuring out the illuminati's purpose/activities in order to stop them. One of the people we were tracking kind of looked like Harry Potter.
I remember at one point in the dream this organisation were in town all cycling by with helium balloons. We were to steal one of their balloons, because these balloons had messages written on them, and we needed to decode what the message on the balloon meant. So we drove/rode past them in the road and I took one of the balloons. It had a 2 word message on it that nobody understood - so Kate and Hagrid-man told me to breathe in the helium from it. I did, and it started making me dizzy, and didn't help me to understand the message at all - so I said to them, "it's just made me dizzy, it's not helping me understand the message" and they were like, well yeah, its helium. And they never explained why they made the breathe it in.
Then somehow the balloon became/ was replaced by a baby seal plushie (post-grad Maya has one) and we had to take care of it.
Fast forward and we end up outside my house but it's not my house because the inside is all dark and concrete/stone and angular and cold. We're outside and the little seal (which has now come to life) starts running away. By this point in the dream there are two Hagrid-men, so one of them goes away to get the baby seal/ take care of the baby seal, while me, Kate, and the other Hagrid-man enter my house (the dungeon looking version of it).
So I think you can see how I just failed to undrstand this dream, but I really wish I did. Or at least remembered more of it.

ikr!! I think a lot of it comes down to training yourself to remember - there was a time when I would remember all of my dreams in detail, but then when I stopped telling people about them and stopped caring as much, I stopped remembering them :(
