huge buildings 10-18-2024

i cannot stress enough how insane it is to me to see giant buildings and skyscrapers. i stand next to one and think, this would have killed a peasant in the medieval area. i wonder how they are so sturdy and strong next to a river. it feels like they would just fall in. how are they made of glass. what is it like on the top floors in a storm. do they sway? do they talk to each other? what do they say? i wonder what their reaction would be if they met a giant sequoita redwood tree, like i saw in california. can i pass notes between them? what are their thoughts on sushi? do the smaller buildings and trees around them have similar grudges about stolen sunlight?
