Puella, Pain, and the Poison

Dear HeySpace,

Here to say if you're a Puella, a girl, an innocent but oh so foolish girl who can't seem to take responsibility for her actions, and goes around drinking poisons to alleviate the pain of your foibles with even more dreadful ones, really, your best bet might be to sit down in the dark where your shadow creeps every wall and listen to the silence for a bit. Really, I mean, really, you know, to be honest, half the time what we suppose as medicine is only poison. Any sufficiently strong medicine is indeed too a poison, they say, but that's OK, you know, to be honest, because of all great things they are, you know, greatly dual, they say, to be honest. But check the pep in your step, Puella, with your martially mandated medicinal marching, cause treating the symptoms won't cure the illness, to be honest, you know. Treat the pain like its a symptom, and you'll still be sick with the thorn, you know. And your sickness too will be your compulsion to treat with egregious medicines, until the poisons make the thorn infected, and the pain grows even more unbearable, you know, they say, you'll need to take some more poison then, for sure, to be honest. So Puella, if you fear the dark it is exactly there you must go, but not the dark of your poison slumber bedchamber, indeed no, but to the dark of the daylight that your poison pale skin fears will turn to ash. Indeed, then and there, beneath the warm rays of the sun so condemned, will your shadow be most visible, and in it you will see your silhouette in fine definition, and without the poison pale glow to be had in mirrors you will see, Puella, without distortion, an image of yourself unreconcilable by machination, for it has been cast of infallible verity, that of the sunlight you know, our star, you know, they say, to be honest. And in broad daylight it is clear who smiles and who frowns, and you will see, Puella, in your featureless shadow at your feet, Puella, if you do smile or frown. Like groundhog day, if the little gopher sees its shadow and delights, spring is soon to come for you Puella, but if it sees it not and flees back to its frigid little den, so hidden from the sun, then another six months of winter are to come, they say. And winter is when the hearth is most favored, you know, and warms the heart with most flavor, to be honest. Summer time sees sunshine most splendid, you know, but the heat is egregious, and we often find ourselves thenabout in frigid darkened chambers. Great things are greatly dual, Puella, and without a smiling shadow you will surely get around to poisoning yourself in with all those marvelous medicines. But of course, all considerations withstanding, Puella, take them as you please with smiling shadow, and know the balance takes strength to hold, and make medicine of poison once again, with warmth of hearth in mind, no matter how frigid be the Fire, you know. I know you know I know you know I know, you know, Puella, and I know, I know, Puella, but please do smile, if you should stare at your feet all day, they say.

Best Regards,
