Being Instagram cool is lame ... like I can't even DM people there without being seen as like a creepo --- I hate that It's like the most popular social media app. When I ask my friends to add me on Spacehey they get so confused and I just look stupid.
But like I don't wanna scroll on reels for hours
I wanna post my cringey selfies and call it a day T--T

IKRR! before i used to be obsessed with how many likes i get on my selfies (cuz i have 205 followers n only get 10-20 likes) n i also used to be obsessed with getting followers cuz all of my classmates had 600-1k followers. i would always wonder if im weird for not getting hundreds of likes n thousands of followers, but idc anymore. im chill with gettin 20 likes on stuff now. it makes me feel underground :3

Same, dude. Plus, I've never been one to use modern mainstream social media sites to begin with (except for YouTube) and still can't get behind why many of my peers are so into these sites to begin with (for reference, I'm only 18 years old physically).
But what do I know? I'm just an old soul who's obsessed with the 90s and 2000s anyways and desperately long to be in that era, always have been and always will be. And honestly, I'm glad that I've turned to sites like this and message boards for social interaction on the internet instead of just going down the path of least resistance like a conformist sheep.
