Current state of my XP laptop

Okay, so! I ended up downloading and running the unofficial service pack 4 which updated my laptop all the way to service pack 3 without me needing to comb through updates manually! Yippee!!!

I also tried to activate Windows through online means, but found out the servers for XP activation are...dead. HOWEVER! Some madlad out there managed to crack the over-the-phone activation method and made a program that just. Does it. So, Windows XP successfully activated without any phone interaction needed!

Finally, I was able to update even MORE drivers thanks to the service pack 4 update seeming to allow Windows to detect more devices and laptop stuff. But uh...bad news is...uh...the screen. I still have no brightness control. Because there's no graphics/display drivers installed ( ._.)

So current objection:
Find a way to install AMD drivers either without Catalyst or find a version of Catalyst that will actually WORK with XP (the previous one kept installing itself whenever I tried booting it up to install the driver I have). And if that driver doesn't work, I thiiiink I have another driver download saved in my favorites???

But anyway, I tested a game pack I have, and only a small amount of them word due to the lack of graphics drivers. Once I get that going, HOPEFULLY I can plat ALL of them games in that pack, because I don't think I ever got the chance to play some of them.
