Mini update (mainly me rambling about American Psycho)

Sooo I apologized to my mom today and she said she accepted the apology so ig time will only tell how she'll act now ┐⁠(⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠)⁠┌ BUT on a different note! I'm reading American Psycho and OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE IT SM SO FAR (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠) Like I'm going into this book COMPLETELY blind and my god Bateman's a freak in the worst and best sense of the word.. i absolutely adore how just hypocritical his is about everything all the time like how he gets pissed off that i cant remember his name and im too lazy to get up to grab the book rn rambles about the Bahamas and all the cool things it has to offer MEANWHILE BATEMAN LITERALLY JUST GOT DONE YAPPING ABOUT THE MUSIC HE LIKES AND HIS OPINIONS ON ALBUMS....SIR..... YOU JUST GOT DONE DOING THE SAME THING... Also I love how observant he is of literally everything like bro can identify clothing brand.. also I reeeealllly love how there's this distance between Bateman and all of his "friends" they're more like acquaintances like one of them genuinely thinks Bateman is a different guy that works at his job, none of the other guys pay him any attention unless he is having an active outburst or asking him a question about fashion statements. Not to mention that he is such a douche and unrelatable but I absolutely adore that. Its always a lot of fun to read a book or watch a movie or show where you can't relate to the MC like idk it makes it that much better to get invested in the piece of media. I'm tired and have to get up early in the morning sooooo niiiight (⁠人⁠*⁠´⁠∀⁠｀⁠)⁠｡⁠*ﾟ⁠+
