So far

Last time I wrote an update on here I mentioned an old friend/flame. We kept it casual for about 3 months (if casual is having a toothbrush at her place and doing everything a couple does, lol) she’s still a good friend, she recently started talking to someone which I knew was coming, giving her some space for a while just so that I’m not in the way of this new relationship she’s forming. I was a little sad, but it was fun while it lasted and she definitely deserves the chance to prosper and form whatever romantic relationships her heart desires. After she told me, I hopped on Hinge for a while, not my proudest moment, not my worst. But right before I was going to delete it, a girl liked my profile and we got to texting. The conversation was amazing and we kept texting on there for a cool minute until I decided to ask for her number. We’ve been talking and I actually really like her, she’s really great! And super sweet. We have a date coming up towards the end of the month that I’ve been planning endlessly. She lives kind of far though, so it’s a lot to think about.. 

I also recently came out to a close coworker, I was honestly planning on never telling anyone at work besides my close friend there but he’s a dude talking about girls isn’t weird with him. But this new coworker is a girl so I was nervous. I really want more girl friends, but it’s kind of hard when you’re gay because you always have that fear of them not even wanting to touch you or that they’ll think you’re weird and in love with them. At the end of the day though, I’m a girl before anything so it sucks that I don’t really have friendships with other women, but she’s really cool so I decided to tell her and she was super nice about it! So a win is a win. 

I also became an instructional aide at the elementary school I work at, and I love my job so much so I’m happy about that!
