who gives a fuck if something is cringe tbh

since yesterday or so ive been rewatching aphmau (specifically mystreet) since i was super into her content in middle school with one of my friends and its not that bad, ive been experiencing that joy i used to have back in those days before i experienced big trauma or during the times where big trauma wasnt happening

i keep remembering my old friend and how we grew apart and its a bummer but i remember the good times

sure the older videos have outdated references like the frozen craze cuz it was 2015 but who cares????? its not like in ur face or anything

girlie is getting her BAG. she has merch, she hires voice actors, she has all sorts of custom mods made for her videos, she provides for her kids, she knows her audience, and honestly its not horrible at all (imo). good for her tbh, get that bag queen

even her new videos arent that bad. i watched them and had fun, like its all in good fun and good faith

are there some things that could be seen as problematic in mystreet? technically yes. things like boundaries being ignored for the sake of a ship (i.e., travis and katelyn) and the main girl (aphmau) being seen as like a piece of meat for the boys to fight over. however, it doesnt make the show unbearable for me (i hope that doesnt mean im a pos or something)

who knows, maybe those elements are tackled later on in the show. i mean im only on season 1 and theres like 6 seasons sooooo we have hope gamers
