So if hypothetically you don't like someone, a block and unfriend will keep them out of your bulletin feed, and if they are friends with someone else you're friends with, even if THAT FRIEND interacts with them, you won't see that activity. I like that. Its so refreshing.

its one of the things i hate about twitter. as much as i block someone, someone on my feed always has to dunk on someone, and now im liking their dunk, and mad that this problematic person said such a dumb thing and now i feel the need to dunk on them, and its just a vicious cycle.

i mean i --- this could be a blog post sorry.--- I mean, im guilty of dunking on people that say such dumb and bigoted things on twitter. i care a lot about defending marginalized groups, and when i see some public figure, politician, etc., saying some bullshit, i do participate in that public dunking that has become a part of twitter culture in recent years.

But now im 25 going on 26, and i'm tired of engaging. I'd rather just donate to the causes, and sign petitions, and use my platform to speak out, instead of dunking on dumbasses. Their opinions will never change, ever, so i've just taken to blocking. (and reporting ing they said something really heinous). 

So like i said, i love that your bulletin feed is contained to just the people you're friends with. and that i can easily unfriend someone, and never see them again in my feed, (save but in comments if they happen to be mutual friends with someone I'm still friends with).
