my review on linkin parks new era

it was nine days ago, on september 5th, when they announced emily as the new singer, but i only found time to listen to it today. being honest, on the very first days, when all i had seen were the reels they posted, i didnt really like it. i mean, she was good and shit, but i was still with chester in mind, and it felt like it was missing something. but as the days were passing, i kinda got used with the idea, and just now, when i heard the emptiness machine, i was sure of my opinion: this is fucking amazing. she made a few mistakes on the from zero concert, but its completely understandable. she was nervous as fuck for sure, and maybe shes not 100% used to this kind of singing. but she rocked. i would love to go to their concert. however, there are a few songs that, for me at least, its impossible not to think of chaz. like in waiting for the end, for example. that `waiting for the end to come´its completely his. and even though i genuinly liked emily, hearing someone else singing his songs just made me remember how much i love him, and how much he made the songs what they were. truly unreplaceable. right after i watched the concert, i imediately went to listen to the original versions, because his voice is my home. anyways, im dying to listen to the new album!!
