This violence is crazy

I'm not really sure if a lot of you guys know but there is a lot of gun violence happening rn but mostly at schools. There was literally a school shooting in Georgia just the other week, like we're only in the first month of school why is it happening? Yesterday my best friend called me and she was so upset bc a junior had two loaded guns on them and got arrested just in the middle of the school day, luckily there wasn't a shooting but that's still horrifying to think about. Then a literal bomb threat happened at her step brother's school. Like what is happening? All of these schools are super close to mine. I'm scared to go to my school bc all it takes is one angry kid and access to a gun and lives can be taken for no reason, and in this country most people have access to guns whether they should or shouldn't. I feel like nobody cares. This is such a big problem and sometimes I feel like nobody is doing anything. I'm really scared.
