i got me a gf!!!

so theres this girl in one of my classes and on the first day she was wearing a band shirt from a band i like and i told her i liked her shirt and we became friends. and then eventually i caught feelings for her and then a livestream series for the band came up and i knew we had to get tickets. we did, she came over to my house.

 for context, theres this one song by waterparks called "lucky people". it's the sweetest, sappiest song you've ever heard and it's the perfect thing to ask someone out to. we both knew it was on the setlist. 

she arrived at four thirty, we hung out for a while, i was kind of awkward and nervous but she kind of was too and we had fun. the concert started a few hours later, we watched the opener and then the main, we sung along to some of the songs and we kept kind of getting closer to each other throughout the night. 

five songs from the end of the concert, lucky people came on. at like the second verse we started getting really awkward and stuff and as it turns out the crush was mutual. i was shaking and my heart was beating so fast. we held hands and she put her head on my shoulder. it was kind of awkward but it was really great. we watched till the end of the concert, she eventually had to go home. i'll see her on monday, i'm so happy. 

in short, i went to a livestream with my crush, she's my girlfriend now.
