Happily insignificant

If I were able to choose my own existence, I would rather be moth. The likelihood of someone disturbing me is low, and I can go unnoticed. Not much would know that I exist, and even if they did see me they'd never remember me. I can fly, but not as beautiful as a bird. A bird can flap its feathers and a poem would be written about it. Every step they take will be admired and be seen. I don't want that life. I would rather go unnoticed, not to be seen as a symbol of freedom or a symbol of anything at all. I'd rather not become a fly because they often disturb people, and I don't want to be involved with anyone. Sure moths can disturb others too, but it's uncommon.

I'll be ugly in peace. I'll look at others, I'll fly, I'll see what is around me. I will be happy.

But alas, I will forever remain human. Not only by nature, but by behavior.
