I miss old tech

I miss when technology had a good weight to it! When you could slap some AA's into something and it'll work. I miss things having buttons and switches and not just touch screens. I miss stuff that could fold up or have things that would fold out! I miss things coming in COLORS! And see-through plastic cases! I miss customization like phone charms and themes on computers! I miss specialized devices like MP3 players that were GOOD! I miss electronics with cords that could be easily found!

I went looking for a wired mouse last year and went to Best Buy and they ONLY had wireless gaming mice! Found the wired mouse I currently own on Amazon for $12.

I've been having a really hard time finding wired earbuds over the past several years, and my search for a decent pair just keeps getting harder. The one time I tried a pair with those rubber bits that stick in your ears, they made my ears feel like they were burning, so I don't use those kind. I use the hard plastic ones which are insanely hard to find a good pair of that doesn't get discontinued right after I buy a pair.

Earlier this year I went on a hunt for a nice, stylish flip phone. Ended up with a Kyocera 902KC (in black) for around $78 off Ebay because all the ones made for the USA are flimsy or made for senior citizens and all the cool Japanese flip phones seem to only work in Japan. Very glad this model has a peg for phone charms that's super easy to use, so I do have some customization going! Also the notification light color can be chosen, so I set mine to purple. Sad it doesn't have a headphone jack, though *shakes fist at Apple for starting that trend*.

I wish "progress" didn't make everything so boring and/or hard to find now.

I just want tech that's genuinly fun again.
