metaphor of the room

yesterday i was petting my rat when i realized she is starting to get as bad as her daughter, so i had a breakdown and went into the bathroom, which was dark and closed the door.

after a while of thinking and being dessperate and sad i thought of something that i think i might like to share: life is like a room.

it is simple, and i will explain this, just as i thought of it right then and there:

put yourself in the position of a room. for me; in that moment, i was sad and the light was off. and after a while i told myself i should turn on the light, or open the door to let the light in.

if i were a room and i didn't put on the energy, effort and hope to turn on the light, it would be dark forever. so would it be, if I didn't have the same courage to ask for help and open the door/window to let the light in.

and it's dumb but true when you think of;  you can have light with and open window, you can let the light from outside in you, you can live off with other's help but the room will always be brighter if you turn on your own light. the room will never be as bright as it is when your light is on. oh and, it won't ever be bright on the outside, that's why your light is the most important one, on top of all.

idk if this makes sense, if it did to you, i hope you enjoyed it

it helped me to get up yesterday and continue with my day.
