warrior cats!

hyde has been hyperfixated on the warrior cats series for a little while now. while i was visiting the other weekend he brought it up again and asked if i wanted to make a cat oc with him. i told him i would if i knew more about the series, so he let me borrow the first two books to see if im interested.

im currently on chapter 4 of the first book and all i can say is.. im very interested.

i absolutely 100% understand why so many autistic tweens got so so so into this a few years ago. this is so fucking cute im almost angry at myself for not giving it a chance sooner. (not to say i thought warrior cats was cringe or anything, i just have a REALLY hard time getting interested in something new. i usually have to make some sort of connection to a thing i already like in order to truly be invested in something so i thought "hey this would make a really cute creepypasta or sonic au haha" and now here we are.

i might write blog posts sharing my thoughts on each of the chapters as i go? or maybe just a recap and my opinion on a few chapters at a time? idk we'll see i guess! but thanks hyde this is awesome lol
