Is Belle (the beauty and the beast) a snob?

(Omg watch me rant about a Disney movie opinion)

On Reddit, i've seen TONS of people calling Belle a snob cuz she lives in a small village and, apparently, "sees simple people who work and don't care about stories as strange and not enough for her to talk with". Umh, tbh, i've analized the song where she talks about her village and... it's quite not true. She says that the baker always sells the same bread everyday and does nothing different not as an insult, it's just an observation. And we'll know the reason why more later on. We can CLEARLY see she loves her small village, but she still wants to live adventures, cuz she's used to read about amazing stories in her books. There's nothing bad about that, really. And, "there must be more than this provincial life" wasn't meant to offend people who chose to live like that... again, she just has different dreams than the others. Plus, the people in the village are kinda rude. Belle tries to talk to the baker about a story and he literally ignores her and cuts her off. Like, ok ur busy, but u still have a few seconds to let her talk. And when Belle walks by, all the people talk behind her back without her doing anything wrong. They call her weird for reading and they are all like "oh, she's different from us!" which is true, but they call her "peculiar" and "odd", which isn't exactly kind. Sure, they say she's very pretty, but they still view her as a weirdo and an outcast.           As someone who also lives in a provincial town, i can't stand the fact that it feels like everyone is judging you from head to feet. So yeah, i'm actually annoyed about the hate Belle gets from people who didin't get her character.
